Vegan Festive Drinks in the UK (and how to order them!)

Christmas is just around the corner, and I've set myself a goal of trying every single one of the festive drinks available in coffee shops! I must say, they're pretty damn awesome this year so I've put together a guide on how to order them vegan! 

Starbucks 

There are four new festive drinks at Starbucks and you'll be pleased to hear that all of them can be made vegan. They are 

• Toffee Nut Latte
• Caramel Waffle Latte
• Fudge Brownie Hot Chocolate
• Gingerbread Latte

So far I've only tried the Caramel Waffle Latte and I must say it was amazing - it tasted exactly like a stroopwafel! 

Here's how you can make them vegan (credit to veegboi on Insta for this info)

Toffee Nut Latte

Order with non-dairy milk and vegan whipped cream. The toppings are vegan!

Caramel Waffle Latte

Order with non-dairy milk and vegan whipped cream. The toppings are NOT vegan!

Fudge Brownie Hot Chocolate

Order with non-dairy milk and vegan whipped cream. The toppings are NOT vegan!

Gingerbread Latte

Order with non-dairy milk and vegan whipped cream. The toppings are vegan!

Caffe Nero 

Like Starbucks, all of Caffe Nero's festive drinks are vegan this year! Wooooo! They are:

• Salted Caramel Latte
• Gingerbread Latte
• Mint Choc Chip Hot Chocolate
• Hazelnut Hot Chocolate

Here's how you can make them vegan:

Salted Caramel Latte

Order with non-dairy milk and vegan whipped cream. 

Gingerbread Latte

Order with non-dairy milk and vegan whipped cream.

Mint Choc Chip Hot Chocolate 

Order with non-dairy milk and vegan whipped cream. Toppings are vegan!

Hazelnut Hot Chocolate 

Order with non-dairy milk and vegan whipped cream!

Costa

Unfortunately, not all of Costa's festive drinks can be made vegan this year - and they STILL don't offer vegan whipped cream (what's with that?!). The drinks available this year are:

• After Eight Hot Chocolate
• Terry's Chocolate Orange Hot Chocolate
• Black Forest Hot Chocolate (I get this every year, try it!!!)
• Gingerbread Hot Chocolate/Latte

After Eight Hot Chocolate 

Order with non-dairy milk and no cream. This is just made with vegan mint syrup rather than actual After Eights so it's a simple order!

Terry's Chocolate Orange Hot Chocolate

Order with non-dairy milk and no cream. This is made with vegan orange syrup rather than actual Terry's Chocolate Orange so it's a simple order! 

Black Forest Hot Chocolate 

Order with non-dairy milk and no cream. Again, the cherry syrup is vegan! 

Gingerbread Hot Chocolate

Order with non-dairy milk and no cream. I am not 100% sure if the Gingerbread they put on top is vegan so you'll have to ask a member of staff or play it safe and order without! 

Soho Coffee Co

Soho Coffee Co has impressed me to no end this year. They have a White Chocolate & Coconut Matcha Latte that is completely vegan - you don't need to make any changes! 

Pret

You're in luck! All of Pret's festive drinks can be made vegan this year. Just order them with the non-dairy milk of your choice and no cream. The drinks are:

• Popcorn Bar Hot Chocolate
• Gingerbread Latte
• Love Bar Latte
