An anonymised string created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is here https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. You can choose to be notified for follow-up comments by email and be notified for new posts when you leave a comment. These things are optional and only you can opt-in.

Cookies
Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. For instance, I use cookies to collect information on your browsing behaviour. Cookies are placed on the device you are viewing the site on and remember when that device accesses the site. These cookies do not collect personal information but monitor your behaviour whilst browsing. If you leave a comment on my website you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. This is so it’ll save you time if you comment again however this is optional. These cookies will last one year.
These cookies and the information they collect help improve this site for yourself and future visitors by monitoring the traffic of users and success of particular content. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings.

Embedded content from other websites
Occasionally, at my discretion, I may include links to other articles, images or videos on my website.  These websites may collect data, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking and monitor your interaction with that embedded content. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. I, therefore, have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, I seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

Third-Party Plug-Ins
This site uses Blogger Analytics to collect information such as details of traffic and visitor behaviour patterns. I am able to view visitors age, preferred web browser, preferred device, the country you're from and what website you found my blog on. For instance, if you clicked the link to my blog from my Twitter account then I will be informed of this. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Do I share data?
I do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information unless required to do so by law.
