My Perfect Vegan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (Eating Out)

There seems to be some kind of assumption that eating out as a vegan is a difficult thing to do, but it's not and my motto is "If you're stuck, go for fries" (providing they aren't fried in the same oil as any animal products.) but usually there are many other more interesting options you can go for.

Here's a list of restaurants that have at least one vegan option available:

  • Toby Carvery
  • JD Wetherspoon
  • Loungers
  • Harvester
  • Zizzi
  • Pizza Express
  • Carluccio's
  • Bella Italia
  • ASK Italian
  • Nando's
  • The Handmade Burger Company
  • Wagamama
  • Yo Sushi
  • Las Iguanas
  • The Real Greek
  • Leon
  • Giraffe
  • Pret A Manger
& many, many more.

Breakfast:

Bella Italia offer a veggie breakfast that consists of mushrooms, avocado, tomatoes, crispy potatoes, & baked beans with the choice of fried or scrambled egg. To make this delicious breakfast vegan, all you need to do is just order it without the egg. It's a flavourful breakfast that's not too heavy or light and keeps you going until lunch time.

Lunch:

Pret A Manger offer a wide range of vegan lunches, even more so at the Veggie Pret located in London. My favourite lunch to get is the Super Greens & Reds sandwich. The filling includes avocado, red tapenade, red pepper, spinach, kalamata, olives, lemon juice and seasoning. This is one of the best sandwiches I've ever tried in my life and I'm not even big on them. The flavours work exceptionally well together to create an explosion of madness in your mouth. Dinner:

Zizzi's are the best for vegan food. They have their own vegan menu so be sure to ask your waiter for it so you're aware of everything they have to offer. Zizzi's specifically have a delicious vegan cheese that can be added to their classic and rustica bases. The cheese is a creamy, and almost spot on alternative to dairy mozzarella. I am a huge fan of this pizza and it's my go to for date nights. I recommend 100%.

To conclude this blog post, it's not hard to eat out as a vegan as long as you're well aware of what each restaurant has to offer before going. Veganism is getting easier and easier by the second.
Please, be kind to animals and go vegan. You will thank yourself. :)
