Love and Relationships

I just thought to myself, after binge watching an incalculable amount of episodes of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, that I absolutely love giving advice to people and I love expressing my views on things I'm passionate about.

I've never been too interested in relationships growing up, I mean, in middle school I really wanted boys to fancy me back (Spoiler: they didn't.) but I never thought about having a relationship as I've always been painfully shy. That being said, I had my first kiss at 12 and I was very proud of that fact but I was never one of the girls who were in and out of relationships like it was going out of fashion and that's okay. I much preferred coming home after school and playing Vizwoz.

However, since falling into my first proper relationship at the age of 18 I see love in a whole new light. I've realised that it was worth waiting for and I am incredibly thankful that I did. I am treated so well and that gives me a huge leverage on advice giving. I can easily identify problems in my own and other peoples relationships even if they can't. I enjoy helping people in horrible relationships and it makes me happy knowing I've helped someone.

I strongly believe that if you are fully aware that your man/woman/non binary partner is a trashy person and you can easily leave then do, I can assure you 100% that you won't even remember their name in 5 years. You will either be thriving in the single life or have found someone who's completely worth your time but hey, there's no rush. Love comes to you.

Which brings me onto my next point, I believe in soulmates, I believe that you can't go looking for someone, they will come to you when the time is right. They will fall into your arms at the most random yet perfect time of your life so hun, don't worry about all those rubbish Tinder dates you've been on, you still have time.

I took to CuriousCat and I got this question:
I was the same, I had kisses and week long relationships when I was 15, I didn't worry about it much but at the same time it did cross my mind a few times that everyone was in a relationship apart from me. Things may change for you in College, but they may not, they didn't for me as I found someone outside of Sixth Form but my Sixth Form was part of my upper school so I knew everyone already but if you're going somewhere where you're going to meet new people there's a possibility, but don't expect it and don't be disheartened if nothing happens. He will come to you when the time is right like I said previously in the blogpost. Focus on your studies and if something happens, it happens. :) x

To conclude, I support every relationship and understand every one is different. All opinions written in this blogpost are my own. Feel free to comment any questions you may have.
